Panjimogaru Rakesh murder case: CCB cops arrest trio

Mangaluru, Jan 07, 2019: The CCB Police who are investigating the murder of a youth named Rakesh at Maladi near Panjimogaru on January 3, have arrested three accused.



Those arrested are Sunil Kumar (26) of Panjimogaru Manjotti, Praveen Poojary alias Chotu (23)  of Kodikal and Preetham alias Abhi (22) of Sunkadakatte Kalbavi. A quarrel between the accused and Rakesh had culminated in the murder.

All the three arrested are said to be friends of Rajesh. Of the three arrested, Sunil has two assault cases in Urva station against him. He  also had a murder plot case registered against him in Bajpe police station.

Another accused Praveen has a daocity, murder attempt and a drugs trafficking case against him.  Preetham has two assault cases and a drugs  peddling case against him.
