Mangalore, Sep 10, 2012 : MLA Krishna J. Palemar inaugurated the fifth national consumer fair on Karavali Utsav Grounds on September 9, Sunday, in the presence of Sompa movie stars Namratha Hegde and Ajatha Shatru.
Delivering the inaugural address, Mr. Palemar said that the national consumer fair gives people a chance to spend some quality time with friends and family members. Stating that the fair has been a roaring success during the past 5 years, he expressed confidence that the fair will provide entertainment unlimited for the people of Mangalore this year too.
The fair comprises more than 100 stalls selling automobiles, kitchen appliances, home appliances, chimneys, solar products, handicrafts, dress materials, footwear, health and fitness equipment, stationary and books, food products, and others at heavily discounted rates.
The fair also offers more than 25 amusement rides, including an artificial boating lake, dragon train, break dance, Italian tora tora, jumping frog, dashing car, aero plane, horse merry-go-round, fish merry-go-round, and others.
In addition, visitors can expect a large boating pool for visitors, amusement rides from Europe such as country car, battery car, and dragon slide, and children’s boating pool.
The exhibition will be available for 45 days from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
