Mangaluru, March 31, 2016: Former Minister, Krishna J Palemaar demanded resignation of the Education Minister over PU question paper leakage taking responsibility of the goof-up.
Addressing the media at the BJP office on Thursday March 31, he said that this is the second instance where Chemistry question paper for the PU exam is leaked., Chemistry exam was supposed to have been conducted on March 21 but was postponed to 31st of March due to question paper leakage.
For the first time in the state history that a same question paper is leaked twice. This is sheer irresponsibility of the government, he blamed. PU Board and Minister have created lot of confusion and hardship for the students. Now, the exam is postponed to April 12th which also created panic among students, he added. The government is ruining the future of the students, said Palemaar.
In the meanwhile, Senior Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary also demanded resignation of Education Minister.
Speaking to the press at the congress office Today, Poojary said that student’s future is in grave condition. This is a shameful matter and that the administration has failed in all respect in its duties.
He further said that, Chief Minister Siddarammaih need to form committee to investigate the negligence by the administration. Students’ and parents’ opinion should to be taken for fixing the date of the re-examination.
