Mangaluru, May 6, 2018: "Prime Minister Narendra Modi who makes ample assurances during election time easily forgets the same after election. Moreover the Centre was not responding as far as developmental issues of the state are concerned. The Centre has also not released adequate aid for the state. Given this situation why should the people vote for the BJP?," questioned AICC Communications Wing Chief Ranadeep Singh Surjewala.
Addressing press persons at the District Congress Office here on May 6, Sunday, he said Modi during his speeches in Karnataka did not speak about any promise which he had made to people in the past.
Referring to the illegal mining scam unearthed during Yeddyurappa regime, he alleged that the BJP had looted the state’s resources. "Now, the Centre was trying to close six out of nine cases through the CBI," he alleged.
AICC National media panelist Jaiveer Shergil was also present among others.
