Over speeding kills: Bike plunges into river at Kulur; 2 dead

Mangaluru, Nov 23, 2018: Two young bike riders lost their lives after their  two-wheeler met with an accident and they fell into the river along with the vehicle at Kulur on November 22, Thursday night.

 

 

The deceased are Nikhil (21) from Akashbhavan and Vijesh (22) of Bangrakulur. The mishap took place at around 8.30 pm.

It is learnt four youngsters on two motorbikes were heading towards a resort in Kulur at great speed when  one  of the bikes hit the bike which Nikhil and Vijesh were riding. The impact of the collision was such that the bike along with the riders fell into the river.

Though locals rushed to the spot their efforts to rescue the riders were futile due to darkness all around and the high water level.

The two bodies were later retrieved.
