Over speeding bus creates havoc near Mulki; 3 critical

Mangaluru, Mar 5, 2015 : Three persons sustained critical injuries after an over speeding bus collided head on with a tempo and  came to an abrupt halt, but not before hitting against a gas cylinder laden mini lorry at Kolnad near Mulki on March 5, Thursday. A few others also suffered minor injuries in the mishap.

The bus named ‘Vishal Travels’ was heading towards Mangaluru form Karkala. The mishap occurred when it tried to overtake another vehicle and in the process hit against the tempo and mini lorry.

The injured included the drivers of the bus and tempo and a woman travelling in the bus.

Traffic was disrupted on the route for some time owing to the mishap.
