Outstanding father-daughter excel in aquatics

Mangalore, Feb 19, 2013 : A father and a daughter have made Mangalore proud by being outstanding swimmers and winning medals at various Aquatic events.
If Keya Bolur bagged two gold medals in 25 meters freestyle and 25 meter backstroke and a silver medal in 25 meter breast stroke in the district level swimming event held at Puttur recently, her father Dr Ashutosh Bolur, won three gold medals in 50 meter butterfly, 50 meter freestyle and 50 m back stroke in the masters category at the Mihir Anil Podar Day and Night inter-state swimming championship held at Belgaum recently. Swimmers from Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka took part in the event.
If Keya is being trained by Ramakrishna at Mangala Swimming Pool in Mangalore, Dr Ashutosh, an ophthalmologist at SDM Eye Hospital, practices at the Corporation swimming pool.
