One-way love affair : Youth absconds after attacking girl’s mother

Kundapur, Jan 23, 2017 :  A  young man, a dealer in second-hand cars has been accused of assaulting a woman  just because the latter had warned him to stay away from her daughter. Reportedly the youth was stalking the woman’s daughter who had refused to reciprocate his love resulting in the incident.

According to eyewitnesses,  the woman Sujatha Ganiga along with her daughter was returning to her flat on  the fourth floor of Dattatreya Apartment on January 22, Sunday after attending a function  when the man named Nithin  who was following  them all of a sudden began to abuse the mother-daughter duo and attacked Sujatha.

Locals had rushed to the help of the mother daughter duo on hearing their screams. Sujatha has been hospitalised.

The accused too stayed in the same apartment block on the seventh floor. Sources revealed that Nitin was after Sujatha’s daughter since four years.

 Meanwhile, the  police are searching for the accused who has gone underground after the incident.
