Bantwal, Mar 13, 2023: A pillion rider of a bike lost his life while the rider has been admitted to hospital in a critical state after a speeding car hit the two-wheeler from behind  at Rayi near Bantwal on March 12, Sunday.

The deceased is  Chandrashekhar, an electrical contractor. The rider has been identified as Yogish. He has sustained serious head injuries.

The negligence of the car driver is said to be the cause of the mishap.
