Mangaluru, November 30, 2019: K2’s Rock On season 13 performed a musical concert for children’s day at Officers Club Mangalore on November 23. ACP Bhaskar VB, Kanthraj, Chief Engineer, PWD Bangalore, S. Ganesh PWD engineer, B. J. Pai, joint secretary, Shamshuddin, assistant executive engineer , Arun Bhat treasurer, DySP Sherief, Chandrakant, Dr Shivaprakash from officers club were present.

Kamlesh and Komal Baldev as the group admin of the K2 Rock On music club were present for the event. Live and karaoke music was performed along with the singing competition. A huge team of young singers from K2 Rock On participated in the event. Inspired their performance, some enthusiastic members of Officers Club too sang into the mike. Not to be left behind, the lady members of officers club made the event colourful by participating in Gujarati Garba and Dandiya dance. Coffee, snacks, chaats and dinner was hosted by the Officers Club. The event went on till late in the night.

Excellent sound system was provided. Mr. Vasu of F&B and the entire staff were great with their hospitality. Melric Benroy, a student of St Aloysius helped us with photography. I thank all those who made this a very satisfying show,” said an elated Kamlesh. He also thanked members Aryan Singh (rapper and singer) and Vaishakh (guitarist and singer) for being together in the making of the event. The Officers Club felicitated Abhinav and Ananya, the two young members of K2’s Rock On. Vote of thanks was given by Stewart, a student of St Aloysius.
K2’s Rock On hobby music club was founded by Kamlesh H. Baldev and his wife Komal. The club started as an informal practice group. The key objective of the club is to give its members the chance to practice singing and promote the talents of music lovers. Membership is totally free and the club has 76 members till date. It also conducts monthly charity concerts at public places. A celebrity is a chief guest for each event. Competitions are also held for singing for school level. The group caters to all kinds of shows with charity and paid shows too. The club regularly meets at Kamlesh Baldev’s Studio at Lalbagh and at Donut Magic.
