Mangaluru, Dec 06, 2018: Nurses at Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences have a brighter future with Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with International skill Development Corporation (ISDC, UK) and University of west of Scotland to promote career advancement and placement in United Kingdom.

This state of art training center will facilitate the entire aspiring health professional to equip themselves to clear their licensing exam for United Kingdom. It will be a unique training centre in Mangalore ventured by Nitte Usha Institute Nursing sciences where the nurses will be receiving training in English language (IELTS/OET), Computer based (CBT) and Objective structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).

The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr.  Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice chancellor of Nitte (deemed to be)University, Dr. Claire chalmers, Assistant dean, school of health nursing & Midwifery, University of west of Scotland and Mr . Joel Cutinho, Head Project, ISDC.

Prof. Dr Alka kulkarni, Registrar Nitte (deemed to be) University, Dr. Fatima D’ silva Principal, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sceience, Prof, Sabitha Nayak, Vice Principal, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Scicence, Ms. Gincy Joseph, Placement officer NUINS and Mr. Nithya Chethan Chakravarthy, Legal Adviser, Nitte (Deemd to be) University were present during the MOU exchange.
