National Pro Kabaddi Tournament on April 15 and 16

Mangaluru Apr 1, 2016: Chief Patron of Dakshina Kannada District Amateur Kabaddi Association Sadananda Shetty has informed that Dakshina Kannada District Amateur Kabaddi Association and Jaya Karnataka Association will jointly organize a National Pro Kabbaddi Tournament at Panamboor Beach on April 15th and 16th.

 

 

 

Addressing the Press at Hotel Quality on April 1, he said that this tournament will lay foundation for the Kabaddi players to perform in National and International level.

Chairman of Karnataka State Amateur Kabbaddi Association Rakesh Malli said that this will be first tournament which will played in a beach and that nearly 20 to 25 teams are expected to participate in this event.

He also said that prize money for winners will be Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh for the runner ups. Best Rider and Best Defender award will be given during this tournament.

Secretary Purushottam Poojary, Treasurer Mohit Suvarna, Referee Monappa, Ratan Kumar Shetty and others were present.
