National Dragon Boat Championship: Karnataka emerges champion

Udupi, Feb 27, 2023: The Karnataka team emerged champion in the 11th national level Dragon Boat Championship held at Swarna River in Uppoor. The Delhi team emerged runner-up in the event.
MP and National Yuva Morcha President Tejaswi Soorya distributed prizes to the winners at the valedictory function held on Sunday.
Teams from 16 states including Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Punjab participated in the event.
Udupi Deputy Commissioner Kurma Rao, State Backward Classes Commission President Jayaprakash Hegde and others were present.
The event was organised by the District Administration, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports and Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association.
