Mangalore, Dec 26, 2013: Chakrakavarthy Sulibele, mentor of NaMo Brigade has alleged that the nation was ruled by an inefficient prime minister who has not opened his mouth even in the case of Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade who was ill-treated in the US.
Speaking at a Bharath Samrakshan programme held at Swaraj Maidan Moodbidri under the aegis of the local unit of NaMo Brigade, Sulibele was also critical of the Indian government which remained silent when Indian soldiers were beheaded by Pakistan.
The nation needs an efficient prime minister, he said and claimed that Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi was the only hope for a better India.
Sulibele also alleged that the various scams that rocked the UPA government in the past ten years have drained the nation’s resources. He further claimed that a survey has predicted 20 seats for the BJP in Karnataka.
Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Vajradehi Mutt, accused the Congress of resorting to divide and rule and said the areca ban proposal was just a ploy by the government.
NaMo Brigade convener Ranjith Poojary and others were present. A vehicle rally was also taken out in the town.
