Narendra Modi day dreaming of becoming PM : Minister Rai

Belthangady, Mar 18, 2014 : DK District in-charge Minister has said that the  BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi was day dreaming of becoming the prime minister of the nation.

He was speaking at  the valedictory function of the Samarasyakkaagi Congress Nadige Padayatra which was taken out from Guruvayanakere to Belthangady  on March 17, Monday on behalf of the Block Congress.

Rai said the Congress government in the state has implemented several pro-people programmes and was even giving rice to the poor for Rs one per kg. What has the BJP done during its tenure in the state, he questioned.

 K Vasanth Bangera, Belthangady MLA said the achievements of the Congress governments at the State and the Centre will prove a boon to the Congress in the upcoming elections.

DK Congress candidate Janardhan Poojari said though the  Congress was engaged in nation building works, the BJP leaders like Eshwarappa are speaking only about corruption and said people of the state are aware of the corruption resorted by Yeddyurappa during his regime in the state. Eshwarappa has no right to point fingers at others when his party has reinducted a leader like Yeddyurappa.

K Harish Kumar, Block Congress President, Party leaders Harikrishna Bantwal, Sahul Hameed, Rajashekhar Ajri and others were present.
