Mangaluru, Nov 16, 2019: As part of the 66th Co-operative Week the DK District Milk Producers Union will be releasing Nandini Cold Coffee and Nandini Kashaya on November 19.
Informing this to reporters here, Raviraj Hegde, President of the Okkoota said the two products will be released in 200 ml bottles.
Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala will release Nandini Kashaya at the Co-operative Week ceremony to be held at Cordel Hall Kulshekhar.
MLA Vedavyas Kamath will preside over the function while DK District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary will release Nandini Cold Coffee. SDCC Bank Chairman Dr M N Rajendra Kumar will release Nandini Paneer (500 gm packet) and CAMPCO President Satishchandra will release Nandini Peda (25 gram) loose pack.
Dakshina Kannada MP and State BJP Chief Nalin Kumar Kateel will release a documentary "Nannaseya Nandini" produced by the Union.
Nandini Kashaya has been prepared using sterilized homogenized double toned milk, naturally available spices, and jaggery and has a shelf life of 180 days.
On the release day at milk parlours, the new products will be distributed free to customers.
Nandini Cold Coffee has been prepared using Sterilized Homogenized Double Toned Milk, sugar and special instant coffee powder.
DK Milk Producers Union Vice President Prakashchandra Shetty, Directors Kaup Dinaker Shetty, Narasimha Kamath, KP Sucharitha Shetty, B Sudhaker Rai, Managing Director Dr G V Hegde and others were present.
