Namana’s efforts in saving accident victim wins applaud

Udupi, June 23, 2020:    Fifteen year old Namana, a tenth standard student of Little Rock School, Brahmavar has won applaud all over for her efforts in saving the life of a young woman who was in a critical state after the car in which she was travelling had plunged into the Chaulikere in Barkur on Sunday. A 40 year old entrepreneur who was driving the car however has breathed his last.



The 23 year old woman who was rescued from the car which had turned upside down  was immediately   made to lie down where  Namana with the help of others gave her first aid by doing resuscitation, something she had learnt while in NCC.

The woman is now recovering and doctors say the first aid given to her had gone a long way in saving her life.

Namana is the daughter of  Savitha Ermal and Kumar couple.  Namana’s mother is also an NSS officer.

The video of Namana’s efforts to resusciate the young woman has gone viral on social media.
