NSUI to sensitize student community on achievements of Cong govt: Siddaveer

Mangalore, Mar 29, 2014 : Siddaveer S.V., State President of the NSUI has said that the NSUI will sensitize the student community as well as the youth on the various welfare initiatives implemented by the Congress government for the betterment of the student force.

Speaking to reporters at the Congress Election office on March 29, Saturday, he said by enlightening the young voters, the NSUI wants to ensure the victory of the Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha candidate of the Congress B Janardhana Poojary.

He described Janardhana Poojary as a taint free leader and exuded confidence that he would emerge victorious. Siddaveer said the NSUI team will be criss-crossing the state to campaign for the party candidates and help in their win. “We have visited Mandya, Chamrajnagar and Ramnagar,” Siddaveer said and added the NSUI has also launched a movement against the pub attack and the ragging menace in educational campuses.

Highlighting the various initiatives of the Congress government he also spoke on the RTE Act and Ksheera Bhagya Scheme.

Bhushan, NSUI General Secretary, Ivan D’Souza, District Congress Spokesperson and others were present at the press meet.
