NSDF sponsored Road Safety Programme inaugurated at Forum Mall

Mangaluru, Dec 13, 2014: A two-day Road Safety Programme organised by Nissan Safety Driving Forum (NSDF), a part of Nissan’s ’Blue Citizenships’ global social responsibility platform was inaugurated at Forum Mall in the city on December 13, Saturday.
The programme lays stress on the importance of safety features in vehicles like air bags and seat belts through panel displays and designed simulators. Former mayor Shashidhar Hegde, Dinesh, Business Head, Vinod Patel, Nissan Divisional Head and GS Hegde. Assistant Regional Transport Officer, inaugurated the panel displays, separate airbag simulator and rollover simulator.
The importance of wearing seat belts while driving a car was demonstrated through a safe rollover situation through the rollover simulator which has a Nissan Micra.
