June 14, 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) at the start of this month. Now it is time for the qualified candidates to undergo the final procedure, which is counselling to get admission at reputed medical institutes.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the counselling dates for NEET UG 2019 band the registration of the first round will be from June 19. NEET qualified candidates can visit the official website; mcc.nic.in under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Below, in this article, find out the list of documents required for NEET 2019 Counselling Round 1.

According to MCC released schedule, NEET 2019 counselling will conclude on June 24, at 5:00 pm. For the first round of counselling, the students will have to lock their seat between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, on June 25. In case if the candidates fail to do it, their seats will be passed on.

NEET 2019 Counselling Dates

  • Round 1 Counselling: June 19 to June 24, 2019
  • First Allotment List: June 26
  • Submission of Documents: June 28 to July 3
  •  Round 2 Counselling: July 6 to July 9 (if seats are left vacant)
  • Allotment List: July 10 to July 11, 2019


NEET 2019 Counselling: Documents Required

  • NEET 2019 Admit Card
  • NEET 2019 Rank letter
  • Date of birth proof
  • Class 10th pass certificate
  • Class 12th pass certificate
  • Class 12th marks sheet
  • Eight passport-sized photographs. The photographs should be the same as the one used while applying for the examination.   
  • Provisional allotment letter
  • Proof of identity
  • Reserved candidates should carry proof of same documents, issued by competent authority


Candidates should have at least score a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC and 45% for General-PH) to register for MCC counselling. More than 14 lakh candidates appeared in the NEET examination this year for admission to medical and dental colleges across the country.
