Puttur, Aug 31, 2015: Maharaja of Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Wodeyar along with Pramoda Devi, wife of the deceased royal scion Srikanta Datta Narasimharaja Wodeyar, visited Eshwaramangala in Puttur taluk on August 29, Saturday.

  The two who were accorded a grand welcome by locals, later offered pooja at the Hanumagiri Temple at Eshwaramangala.

They also laid the foundation  for the  new building of the temple and also that of the Shree Kodandarama Abhisheka Mantapa.

Puttur MLA Shakuntala Shetty, Malleswaram MLA Ashwath Narayan and others were present.

 Both Yaduveer and Pramoda Devi were taken in an open jeep procession around the town.

Eshwaramangala is beautiful place and hope who ever visited the place loved it . Our district is recognized at least in this way .
