Mrithika Visarjan held to mark conclusion of Parthagali seer’s Chaturmasya Vritha

Mangaluru, Sept 17, 2016: The Mrithika Visarjan ritual held as part of the conclusion of the Suvarna Chaturmasya Vritha of Srimad Vidyadhiraja Theertha  Swamiji of Sri Parthagali Jeevottam Gokarna Mutt, was held at the Gurupur river banks at Bolar on Friday, September 16, 2016.

Later  RR Kamath and Srinivas Dempo offered Pada Pooja to the revered Swamiji at the Mutt. The seer also distributed scholarships to meritorious children belonging to poor families of the community.

The four month period of ‘Suvarna Chaturmasa Vritha’, was held for from July 25th to September 16th. During this period Various programmes like yoga camp, home remedies camp, Bhagavata Saptaha, blood donation camp, career guidance for SSLC and PUC students, Bhajan Sandhya and Sankeerthan meets was held to mark the occasion.
