Mother and Child killed in road accident near Nethravathi Bridge

Mangalore, October 18: In a freak road accident near Nethravathi Bridge today resulted in the tragic death of a mother and child from Adyar, Kannur. The incident occurred at around 5.30 am on Monday, October 18.
The deceased have been identified as Zeenat(33) and her child, Samanah(5) a native of Adyar Kannur. The two were killed after the goods tempo in which they were moving plunged into a gorge near Nethravathi Bridge. They were moving towards Mangalore after visiting their relative’s house at Ullal.
A case has been registered in the Ullal police station. Ullal police investigating the case said that the driver and another child of Zeenat, who have been survived miraculously, received minor injuries in the incident.
