Mangaluru, Apr 30, 2015: The Moodbidri police who have secured the body warrant of a cattle theft accused and another accused in a temple burglary case took the duo to police custody for interrogation on April 29, Wednesday. Both are likely to be produced before the court on April 30, Thursday.
One of the accused namely Muqsin (20) of Nekkilady who was wanted in a cattle smuggling case wherein the vehicle had met with an accident at Mastikatte, was later arrested by the Bantwal police in connection with an arecanut theft case. The Moodbidri police later secured his body warrant for further interrogation.
Similarly, a man of Bhadravathi origin Moodu Nagaraj who was arrested by Karkala police and was wanted in a case of theft of utensils from Kemplaje Durgaparameshwari Temple is also in custody of Moodbidri police now after they secured a body warrant from the court.
