Moodbidri, Sep 15, 2015: A tragic road mishap which occurred near the Todankila bridge near Kallamundkur on September 14, Monday has claimed the life of Tejashree Sampath (32), former president of the Moodbidri Devadigara Mahila Vedike.
The deceased was also serving as a first division clerk at the Kallamundkur High School.
The mishap occurred when Tejashree was returning after dropping her kids to school in her two-wheeler. As she was heading towards Kallamundkur her vehicle brushed past an oncoming vehicle when she lost her control and her helmet fell on the road. Soon after, a pick-up vehicle coming from behind hit her vehicle landing her on the road.
It is said she remained on the road for nearly 20 minutes profusely bleeding with none coming to her rescue, instead people were busy clicking her pictures lying in the pool of blood. Finally, Kallamundkur GP member Satish who was coming that way in his vehicle arranged to shift her to a private hospital in Moodbidri.
She later breathed her last while being rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru.
Tejashree’s husband Sampath works abroad. She was a mother of three daughters studying in seventh, fourth standards and LKG respectively.

The accident occurs in a fraction of second , it mainly occurs due to the carelessness of somebody or other. Really pity Tejashree’s family. RIP | |
