Moodbidri, Nov 04 2019: A young man who was pillion riding a bike lost his life after the two-wheeler fell into an under construction culvert near Gandhinagar in Vidyanagar on Sunday night.
The deceased is Prajwal Acharya (22), son of Purushotham Acharya of Bajpe. He was working at a chicken processing centre in Edapadavu.
The mishap occurred when Prajwal was returning with his friend Deekshan of Irvattur after participating in the funeral of a friend’s father.
Though the culvert was under construction on NH 169, no warning sign board is displayed in the area taking riders unawares resulting in mishaps.
