Moodbidri, Nov 21, 2020:    The  personnel of the women’s police station of Mangalaru have arrested an autorickshaw driver from Kallamundkur on the charges of raping a minor.

The accused has been identified as Satish Anchan. It is learnt he  had befriended a minor of his village and in the month of July had forcibly taken her in his autorickshaw and had raped her in a quarry. Later he had  even resorted to blackmailing her stating he had her  nude photos.

 As per the complaint lodged by the victim’s  family, the police arrested the accused and have produced him before the court. He is presently in judicial custody.
