Moodabidri hosts 24th edition of ’Alva’s Virasat 2018’

Moodabidri, Jan 12, 2018 : The 24th edition of the annual cultural extravaganza, Alva’s Virasat 2018, organised by Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri from, today.A three day programme at Open Air Auditorium at Puthige,here was preceded by a short cultural procession.

Nagaland Governor P B Acharya, inaugurated the festival and D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, presided over the event.The focus of the 24th edition of this cultural festival is firmly on youth, and the choice of the above artistes reflects this mood, said Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation.

Students of Alva’s welcome the guests on the opening day with Bharatnatyam, badagu yakshagana and other cultural programmes were also the part of the occassion.
