Mangalore, July 3, 2014: With the monsoon train timings coming into effect from July 1, the timings of several trains have been changed including that of Matsyagandha Express, the departure of which from M’lore Central has been advanced by nearly two hours.


Monsoon train schedules Beginning from Tuesday, train no, 12620 Mangalore Central-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT, Mumbai)  leaves at 12.50 p.m. instead of 2.35 p.m. The pairing train (no. 12619) now arrives at 10.25 a.m. instead of 7.30 a.m.

According to official sources, train no. 226335 Madgaon-Mangalore Central Intercity Express will arrive at 11 p.m. instead of 10 a.m. Departure time of its pairing train (no. 22636) remains 8.15 a.m. Madgaon-Mangalore Central Passenger (no. 56641) arrives at 10 p.m. instead of 8.50 p.m.

North-bound trains

Among trains going towards north (Udupi, Madgaon) from Mangalore Junction, the CST Express (no. 12134) will arrive at 4.45 p.m. instead 1.55 p.m. Train no. 12617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangalore Lakshadweep (daily) will now arrive at 9.45 p.m. and depart at 9.50 p.m.

Train No. 22149 Ernakulam-Pune Express (arriving on Tuesdays and Fridays) will now leave at 12.30 p.m. instead of 12.35 p.m. Train No. 19577 Tirunelveli-Hapa (Monday, Tuesday) will now arrive 10.20 p.m. and leave at 10.30 p.m.
