It may be recalled here that Gangadhar Pangala had died in a suspected case of road accident at Suratkal on May 15. However, later it came to light that it was a case of deliberate accident aimed at eliminating Pangala.

Gangadhar H, advocate, who spoke on the occasion, was critical of the police for failing to arrest the accused in the case. An earlier protest as well as submitting of memorandum to the Home Minister has been of no avail, he said.

He further demanded that the government must entrust the investigation into the case to the CoD. Rajiv Kanchan, President of Mangaluru Hadinalkupatna Mogaveera Samyukta Sabha   also spoke.

State Health Minister UT Khader accepted the memorandum from the protestors.
