Mangaluru May 28, 2016: District In charge Minister Ramanath Rai has alleged that the Narendra Modi government which has completed two years is known to be a U-Turn government as it has disappointed people by not fulfilling its promises.
Addressing the Press at Circuit House on Saturday May 28, he said the government’s promise to credit Rs 15 lakh to every Indian’s account by bringing back the black money has proved out to be totally false.
The NDA which had criticised the introduction of Aadhar cards by the erstwhile UPA Government, is now praising the benefits of Aadhar cards which is nothing but a comedy of errors, said Rai.
DK district has developed because of UPA government, he said. Showering heaps of praises on the architect of modern Dakshina Kannada Ullal Srinivas Mallya, he said it was due to Mallya’s efforts that Mangalore Airport, New Mangalore Port, National Highway and many more projects came into existence in the district.
He criticized Modi government for creating intolerance in the country and described the Dadri lynching as shameful.
DK interim Congress President Ibrahim Kodijaal, former Mayor Mahabala Maarla and others were present.
