Missing newly wed woman elopes with lover

Puttur, Aug 01, 2019: A young woman who was  married just 24 days ago has been  reported missing from a hospital ward  at Puttur where she was  admitted  for treatment of fever. The  woman it is learnt has left behind a message  for her husband  asking him not to search for her and that she has left with her lover.

The missing woman is 18 year old  Prema alias Pinki, daughter of Tayamma of Madhulapur in Kushalnagar. She was given in marriage to Shinoj of Kannur on July 8. On July 26, Shinoj had come to Haradi in Puttur to visit his sister. However when  Prema developed fever she was admitted to a private hospital. As she was in the women’s ward, Shinoj  had slept in the hospital hall outside. However his wife was found missing in the morning. She had sent the message to his mobile saying she was going with her lover.

Shinoj has now lodged a police complaint.
