Missing married man found dead at Someshwar Beach; suicide suspected

Mangaluru, feb 18, 2015: A 35 year old married man who was missing since February 16, Monday evening, has been found dead. His body was found on the sea shores at Someshwara on February 17, Tuesday.

The deceased person is Naveen, a resident of near Kuttar Temple in Munnur village. It is said Naveen had called his brother Rajkiran over his cell phone on February 16 at around 3.30 pm asking him to take good care of parents as he would be no longer with them.

Later his cell phone was not reachable. When a frantic search was launched for Naveen, his bike was found abandoned near the Someshwara Temple at Ullal. His body was later traced on Tuesday evening.

It is suspected that he ended his life out of frustration. Naveen was a TV technician by profession, was married one and a half years ago and was the father of a 15 day old baby girl.

It is nothing but a tragedy that Naveen had chosen to end his life when his baby’s naming ceremony was due to be held on February 19, Thursday.
