Miscreants snap anchor rope; boat sinks off Mangaluru coast

Mangaluru, May 06, 2019:  A boat owned by Maurice of Bajal has  sank in the  ocean  after some miscreants snapped the anchor rope of the boat at the old fisheries port on Sunday night. The boat had hit against a rock before sinking.

Though local fishermen  tried to  pull it to the shores, it submerged in the sea due to high waves. The boat owner who has incurred losses to the tune of lakhs of rupees has lodged a complaint with Bunder police.
