Minister to appeal to C M to set up a Corporation in the name of Shree Narayana Guru

Udupi, Sep 13, 2019: State  Minister for Mujrai, Fisheries, Ports and Inland Transport Kota Srinivas Poojary has said that  an appeal would be made to the Chief Minister to create a Corporation in the name of Brahmashree Narayana Guru for the welfare and upliftment of the downtrodden sections of the society.

 

He was speaking  after inaugurating the 165th Narayana Guru Jayanthi celebrations organised by the Billawa Samudaya Bhavan of Katapady Shree Vishwanatha Kshetra on September 13, Friday under the aegis of the Udupi District Administration, Zilla Panchayat and Department of Kannada and Culture.

Poojary said  the  principle of One Caste, One Religion and One God advocated by Shree Narayana Guru is relevant at all times.  He also said he would discharge his duties as minister by duly abiding by the  ideals advocated by Shree Narayana Guru.

Udupi TP Chief Neetha Gururaj Poojary, Additional DC Sadashiva Prabhu, Kaup Tahsildar Muhammad Isaq, Katapady Vishwanath Kshetra President B N Shanker Poojary and others were present.
