Mangaluru,May 30,2017 : Medical shops across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts are observing a bundh on May 30, Tuesday in protest against online sale of medicines. The bundh is being observed at all India level as per the call given by All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists.
There are around 520 medical stores in Dakshina Kannada and 430 stores in Udupi district.
Even wholesale dealers will participate in the bundh. However, pharmacies in hospitals will function as usual, informed Shridhar Kamath and Manohar Shetty, Presidents of District Chemists and Druggists Association of DK and Udupi respectively.

Now a days all are use to purchase online . It is not the public who have to be blamed, naturally the benefits which they get to their doorstep will not miss the opportunity |
