Mayor Kavitha meets CM; seeks Rs 50 cr grants for MCC

Mangaluru, Sep 12,2017 : Mayor Kavitha Sanil met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his official residence Kaveri on September 11, Monday evening and sought a special grant of Rs 50 crores from the CM’s fund towards various developmental projects in Mangaluru.

She drew the attention of the Chief Minister towards the shortage of staff in the MCC office and  urged for steps to fill in various vacancies in the MCC in order to ensure that developmental projects  are not affected in any way.

DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai was also present.

The Mayor later informed that the CM has assured to consider the demands.

Source said as many as 50 per cent posts in the MCC are vacant as of now severely hampering the functioning of MCC.

Why did the MCC kept all these seats vacant from these days , is it reserved for someone ,who bribes them

Hope the funds are used for the betterment of the public, but we cannot expect this from these people as they are least bothered of the them
