Manjeshwar MLA Qamaruddin gets bail in 3 cases

Manjeshwar, Jan 04, 2021: Manjeshwar MLA M C Qamaruddin who was arrested in connection with the Fashion Gold Jewellery cheating case, has secured bail in three of the cases filed against him. Qamaruddin who is a Muslim League leader is the Chairman of the Fashion Gold Jewellery firm.
The Kerala High Court which took up for hearing the bail application of the MLA, granted him bail subject to certain strict conditions. In each of the case he has to submit a bond of Rs one lakh. The court has also said that he cannot enter the areas within the jurisdiction of the police stations in Kasargod district where he has cases against him.
However, as the MLA has nearly 115 cases against him in Kasargod, Chandera, Payyanur and other police stations, he is unlikely to be released.
