Manipal : Journalist succumbs to suspected H1N1

Manipal, May 09, 2019: A journalist has succumbed to suspected H1N1 at the KMC Hospital at Manipal on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Archana (26), a resident of Sastana Gundmi. She was married just five months ago and was pregnant.
Archana who worked for a local TV channel was admitted to the KMC Hospital about 15 days ago for treatment of fever.
Meanwhile, her family members staged a dharna in front of the hospital on Wednesday night alleging medical negligence as the cause of Archana’s death.
