Manipal : A NITTE student dies, 3 critically injured as speeding car topples

Udupi, Sep 30 2018: A student of NITTE Institute of Architecture lost his life in a road mishap at Manipal late night on September 29, Saturday. The deceased, Ivan Anil Kumar  is a student of Architecture hailing from Kannur in Kerala.

It is learnt, he was driving his car at great speed resulting in the vehicle hitting the divider and overturning near the DC office at Manipal. The impact of the collision was such that Ivan was thrown out of the car. He died on the spot.

Three other students, Varun Vijith, Deepika and Irene who were in the car have sustained serious injuries. They have been admitted to Manipal Hospital.

Speeding car of students cause serial mishap near Kuthar

 Mangaluru :  A car was completely mangled in a collision with a scooter near  Pandith House  close by Kuthar on the outskirts  of the city on September 29, Saturday night.

It is learnt, a group of four students of Kerala origin were overspeeding in the car in a drunken stupor resulting in the accident.

Luckily no one was injured in the mishap. The car of the students had overturned after hitting another car. Sources  said there were two young women in the car.
