Mangaluru violence : High Court grants conditional bail to 16 accused

Mangaluru,Feb 27, 2020: The State High Court has on February 27, Thursday   granted conditional bail to 16 persons arrested on charges of stoning the Mangaluru North police station and trying to set afire the police station during the December 19, 2019 anti-CAA protest in the city.

 


high court2The 16 accused including Suhail and Tanzeel had moved the High Court seeking bail.


The single member bench  comprising Justice John Michael D’Cunha agreed to the plea and  granted conditional bail.

The  earlier bail plea of the accused was turned down by the 4th Additional District and Sessions Court of Mangaluru.
