Mangaluru, Jan 5, 2015 : A seminar ’Vasudaiva Kutumbakam- Let’s Live Together’ was held at the TV Raman Pai Convention Centre here on January 4, Monday under the aegis of the Yuva Brigade.
Speaking on the occasion, Chakravarthy Soolibele, Chief of Karnataka unit of Yuva Brigade said it was only when Indians respect other’s beliefs that India can develop into a super power.
Earlier, Mohammad Faiz Khan, Executive committee Member of Muslim Rashtriya Manch, B Abdul Razak, Chairman of Hydrose Haji Memorial Trust, Ahmed Mustafa, dairy farmer and Chakravarthi Soolibele jointly inaugurated the programme.
Faiz Khan in his address stressed the need for Indians to evince interest in joining the armed forces and serve the nation.
Ahmed Mustafa who also spoke said peace and harmony can be achieved when there is a spirit of brotherhood among the people.
The participants of the seminar observed a minute’s silence in memory of the brave warriors who laid down their lives for the cause of the nation during the terror attack at the Pathankot air base.
