Mangaluru: Worker drowns in sheltered water of Stone Quarry at Valachil

Mangaluru June 29, 2016: A migrant laborer lost his life after he drowned in sheltered water of Stone quarry at Valachil on June 28, Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Kishore (35) resident of Bihar

As per the sources, Kishore works in a stone quarry at Valachil for last couple of years, after his work along with his son Kishore went near the standing water in order to wash himself unfortunately Kishore slipped and drowned in the water

After a consistent rain in last few days standing water was very deep, Kishore who slipped down to water, his son shouted for help some locals rushed to the spot and found the body.

Even though police were informed they failed to arrive the spot till 11pm. Locals stopped the ambulance which carried the dead body of the person, people insisted that policemen should inspect the spot before the body taken away.

how important the rains are ? The same way the season is very dangerous. AS the rain pours water gets accumulated and such accident s become a tragedy
