Mangaluru : Woman stabbed by ex-colleague in broad daylight attack at Kulai

Mangaluru, Aug 4, 2015 : In a shocking  broad daylight attack, a youth stabbed a  woman  who was on way to her workplace at Kulai in the outskirts of the city on August 4, Tuesday.

The  victim has been identified as Sowmya (32), a resident of Katipalla. She works in Makrana Marble Centre and as usual had alighted from a bus and was walking towards  the Marble Centre when  the youth  attacked her. The seriously injured woman has been rushed to the hospital.

 

 

 

The attacker has been identified as Azeem, a north Indian who earlier worked in Makrana Marble Centre but was presently unemployed.

The reason behind the attack is not known. It is learnt the accused had managed to escape before locals could catch hold of him.

Suratkal Police are investigating the case.
