Mangaluru: Trio arrested near Akashbhavan for hatching dacoity plot

Mangaluru, Mar 24, 2015: : Kavoor police have arrested three persons  on the charges of hatching a dacoity plot. A Pulsar bike, three machetes, chilly powder and black clothes which they had planned to tie around their face to hide their identities, have been seized.


Arrest


Those arrested are Krishna (25), Praveen (25) of Urva and  Dikshith Shetty (24) of Anandnagar near Akashbhavan.

The Kavoor police led by Sub-Inspector Umesh Kumar who raided a place close by the Parapade quarry near Akashbhavan  at around midnight on March 22 following a tip off, arrested the three persons.

All of them have been produced before the court on March 23, Monday and remanded to judicial custody. Police said they were involved in minor offences even in the past.
