Mangaluru Nov 10, 2016: Unauthorized banners that had cropped up in Adyar on the occasion of Tippu Jayanthi, have been removed by the Police on Thursday November 10th.

Tippu Jayanthi is been a talking point ever since state government took a decision to celebrate Tippu Jayanthi. Police Commissioner ordered Section 144 in Dakshina Kannada till November 12th as precautionary measures for the Tippu Jayanthi.

In order to avoid untoward incidents holding protest, public meetings and cropping up banners and hoardings is strictly prohibited. Even though the orders are functioning local groups in Adyar cropped up unauthorized banners.
