Mangaluru, June 6, 2015: A coal laden lorry which was parked inside the New Mangalore Port jetty all of a sudden  moved backwards straight into the water on June 5, Friday even before people around could realise what was happening.


Stationed coal lorry at NMPT lands in sea due to technical snag


The driver of the lorry was standing outside when owing to some technical snag, the lorry started on its own and took a reverse. It was later lifted from the waters with the help of a crane.

The lorry was loaded with coal worth Rs 3 lakhs. Panambur Police have registered a case.
