Mangaluru, Dec 08, 2015: A two-day state level folk dance competition namely The Special Talent Hunt-2015 organised at the Town Hall here on December 8, Tuesday was inaugurated by DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai. The event was jointly organised by Saanidhya Residential School and Training Centre for Specially Abled and the District Youth Congress.
In his inaugural address, Rai said the special children should be taken good care of in order to ensure that they grow up as proud citizens of this land. He also hailed the Youth Congress for taking the initiative in organising the event.
Mithun Rai, District Youth Congress President who also spoke on the occasion said such events gave a good opportunity for the special children to expose their talents.
Prof. Gopinath, retired lecturer of Canara College, Vasanth Shetty, Administrator of Saanidhya, Prof. Krishna from Ganesh Seva Trust , Mahabala Maarla, former mayor and others were present.

The Physically disabled children must be encouraged . We shouldn’t show sympathy but give them a Moral Support to expose the hidden talent. Every one is blessed with some talent o other .
