Mangaluru : Protest against Adyapady moral policing incident

Mangaluru, Feb 15, 2018: A protest was staged near the Bavutagudda bus stand by  students and members of the general public on February 14, Wednesday to  condemn the recent  atrocities committed on a  young man and a woman, both  employees of Indigo Airlines at Adyapady.

 

 

Addressing the protestors, social activist Vidya Dinaker said happenings in the would be smart city of Mangaluru are unbecoming for a smart city and deplored the atrocities  committed on  women. She also urged the police to protect women from moral policing and exhorted  women to raise voice against atrocities.

Suhan Alva, student activists Sowjanya Hegde, Ashik, Samantha and others spoke on the occasion.
