Mangaluru, May 13, 2019: A person named Lingappa (37) from Kateel has been arrested in connection with a murder reported from  the park at State Bank area on May 7.

The deceased is Sharath (34) from Ballalbagh. Sharath was  killed by reportedly hitting his head with a tile. The accused had later placed a concrete slab over the  body.

It has been gathered that the police are on the lookout for a few others wanted in this murder case.

Though the motive behind the murder is not known, it is said that both the accused and the victim were drunk when the incident took place.
